Eurocopter delivered an EC225 helicopter in the second Airtelis, a French public utility wholly owned by RTE. This follows the first delivery, occurred at the end of last year.
RTE is specialized in surveillance operations, maintenance and construction of high and very high voltage power lines through the use of helicopters. To date the company has made a total of over 250.000 flight hours - equivalent to about 30 years of uninterrupted flight.
In addition to these transactions on power lines, the EC225 is able to carry external loads, including a water tank of the capacity of 4.000 liters of water, fire for missions.
