Eurocopter has inaugurated Systemhaus , its new development center helicopters , a Donauwörth, in Germania, the presence of the Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Seehofer .
The structure , within which employs about 900 people, offers a fully integrated system of engineering capabilities for the production of Eurocopter helicopters , global leader in this market , at its German headquarters - a key aspect within the innovation strategy of the company globally .
This new development center allows Eurocopter to manage the entire life cycle of its helicopters in one location in Germany , covering all aspects , from research , the development and construction of prototypes , passing through the production and final assembly - along with training , assistance and improvement of the product . Around 900 employees are moving from the place of Ottobrunn near Monaco to that of Donauwörth , where the workforce will rise to around 6.500 people.

The team composed by students of the Politecnico di Milano is one of the five selected by Airbus , between 618 participants to take part in the final stage of the third edition of the international competition Fly Your Ideas.
