Airbus has successfully powered-on-the flight deck of the A350 XWB "MSN1" first. This important milestone was passed two weeks after this section was delivered to the final assembly line in Toulouse.
The Flight-deck power-on is an important step on the road to the completion of the aircraft, because it enables the functional control of many devices on board. Having achieved this goal almost a year before the first flight will enable the early identification and resolution of potential problems, helping to protect the program of development of the aircraft.
Now follow the lighting of the entire fuselage by the end of the year.
