15 years ago, on this day, an event happened that changed forever the landscape of aviation. Five visionary and CEO, shared the same ideas took the bold decision to found the first multilateral airline alliance in history: The Star Alliance network. All carriers that have established - Air Canada, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, THAI e United – understood that with the increasing globalization, was growing more and more the need for international travel to an increasingly wide variety of destinations.
Since no company alone would never have been able to achieve this result, these five airlines decided to form the Star Alliance network, with the goal of becoming "the leading airline alliance worldwide to give importance to the international traveler".
