The second plane of the series M-346 , manufactured by Alenia Aermacchi Italian Air Force was delivered a few days ago .

The contract, the value of 220 million, for the acquisition of an initial batch of six M-346 and the training system for the Italian Air Force, was signed at the end of the 2009.
The M-346 has also received approval from the office of certification of the Italian Ministry of Defence in June 2011, an essential requirement if the aircraft is to be used in military .
At the end of September 2010, the first international agreement under the Fighter Wings Course ( FWC ) was signed with the Government of Singapore . The consortium , formed by ST Aerospace (prime contractor) e Boeing, was awarded the contract for the supply of 12 M-346 and training systems GBTS.
