Another golden year for the free flight in hang gliding and paragliding Italy confirms the top of world rankings of these exciting disciplines that give strong emotions to thousands of drivers. The most resounding victory has taken place this summer in Umbria.
The blue of the hang glider, opposite 146 drivers from 35 nations, have won the fifth world title. They were part of the national Alexander Ploner of San Cassiano (Bolzano), Christian Blind Mornington (Varese), Elio Cataldi of Vittorio Veneto (Treviso), Guiducci David Villa Minozzo (Reggio Emilia), Oppici Philip of Parma, Karl Reichegger Tues fold (BolzaBolzanoan Selenati in Arta Terme (Udine), Vanni Accattoli of Recanati (Macerata), Andrea Bozzi carers of Verbania and Alba Tombollato of Padua, CT led by Flavio Tebaldi Venegono Lower (Varese). In particular Ploner Vareses fourth individual, followed by Ciech, silver medal.
Overall, in about 10 Ploner years has a handheld three gold medals, two silver and one bronze; Ciech two gold and two silver.
At the top of the world there is also the Icarus 2000, Varese manufacturer of hang gliders, which boasts a dozen titles including world and continental and an output of 9000 specimens a year. The 2011 was also the year of the world paragliding, played in Spain. Luca Donini Molveno (Trento), European champion in office, won the silver medal. 150 members representing the pilots 48 nations.
