The low-cost carrier also exercises options for seven more A320s
Cebu Pacific, airline of the Philippines, has signed a Letter of Intent (MOU) with Airbus for the purchase of 30 aircraft A321neo. The carrier also exercised an option for seven additional A320 aircraft standards, leading to 41 the total number of firm orders for aircraft company Airbus single-aisle. These aircraft will join the fleet of A319 and A320 aircraft used on domestic and regional network carrier of this rapidly expanding.

Cebu Pacific's network covers 33 domestic destinations and 16 international, which include Osaka, Seoul (Incheon), Beijing, Jakarta , E Bangkok Singapore.

The A321neo is the aircraft of larger series recently launched A320neo, is equipped with new engines and wing stabilizers, the so-called 'sharklets'. These optimizations ensure a reduction of 15% of fuel consumption, in addition to a range of more than 500nm additional (950km), two or more tons of cargo transported. With regard to the environment, the fuel savings realized by this aircraft allows a reduction of CO2 emissions of the order of about 3.600 tons per year per aircraft. This aircraft can also get a double-digit reduction in NOx emissions as well as a reduction of noise emissions from engines.
The A320 Family (A318, A319, A320 and A321) is recognized in the market as a reference for the family single-aisle aircraft. To date, orders have been made for over 7.000 A320 Family aircraft, of which over 4.700 have been delivered to over 330 customers and users around the world. The A320neo Family aircraft have more than 95% of commonality with the existing aircraft, This allows easy integration into existing A320 fleets.
The new engines are available for the Family A320neo LEAP-X engines of CFM International and Pratt PurePower PW1100G & Whitney.
