Il Governo spagnolo, Iberia Arlines ed Airbus hanno firmato un accordo per dare vita in Spagna a una filiera commerciale, completa e nazionale per lo sviluppo di biocarburanti sostenibili e rinnovabili destinati al settore del trasporto aereo.
L’accordo è stato firmato a Madrid da Isaías Táboas, Ministro dei Trasporti spagnolo, Suárez Antonio Vazquez, Chairman Iberia Airlines, e Tom Enders, President and CEO of Airbus.
L’accordo mira a promuovere e sostenere iniziative volte a sviluppare una filiera nazionale per la produzione di biocarburanti per il trasporto aereo spagnolo, utilizzando risorse sostenibili dalla produzione al consumo, con particolare attenzione all’analisi economica e tecnica.
“L’utilizzo di biocarburanti da parte dell’industria del trasporto aereo spagnola e lo sviluppo di una ‘catena del valore’ spagnola permetterà al nostro paese di ridurre la propria dipendenza dai carburanti fossili, aumenterà la competitività delle nostre aziende riducendo i costi associati alle emissioni di CO2 e creerà valore e ricchezza per la nostra economia” ha dichiarato Isaías Táboas, Ministro dei Trasporti spagnolo. “Siamo convinti che il settore pubblico e quello privato lavoreranno insieme per lo sviluppo e l’implementazione di questa importante iniziativa”.

Lo Stato Maggiore della Difesa e l’Enac danno il via libera alla riapertura parziale dell’aeroporto di Trapani – Birgi al traffico civile. La notizia è stata resa nota questo pomeriggio con una nota ufficiale dell’ENAC che di fatto consente la riapertura dello scalo civile a partire dalle 7.30 tomorrow morning. Ora e data che però sono solo indicative. Per giungere al ripristino di della piena operatività dello scalo, in coordinamento con il personale del 37° stormo, saranno necessarie almeno 48 hours. Initially, come Enac ha comunicato, verranno ripristinate fino ad un massimo di 18 takeoffs and 18 atterraggi al giorno. Sarà garantito il collegamento delle tratte onerate per Pantelleria. Un incremento dei voli civili nei prossimi giorni sarà soggetto alla valutazione dell’aeronautica militare.
Per il presidente dell’ Airgest, Salvatore Shadow, it is "un segnale importantissimo che ci consente di ritornare ad operare con una potenzialità di traffico accettabile. The paper suggests that by that date, the 90% of travelers will be able to complete your trip in Europe by 4 hours and that flights will arrive at their destination within one minute after the time of arrival, reducing flight times and fuel consumption due to air traffic congestion.
